Bay leaves are a beautiful way to write prayers and wishes on. It's also another great way to use your cauldron. Just write your prayers or wishes on the bay leaf then burn it in your cauldron, allowing your prayer or wish to rise up into the smoke and out into the universe. Casting your ashes into the wind and let them carry out onto the universe is also a nice way to send out your wishes and prayers.
