Our summer Solstice ~ Something to Remember (Litha Crafts)

As I talked about in an earlier blog, I love having collaborative nature projects that everyone can participate in. It's a way for all to contribute their creativity, love and energies into all aspects of our day. It also gives everyone something to take home with them to remind them of this Solstice day.

So we made mini nature looms out of our loom scraps. Sorry I have no photos to share of that, we made them so early on in the day that I forgot to photograph them to share. Then we made our merriment shell rattles that were filled with crystals of Litha that were used during drumming and fire jumping. I even incorporated them into our table adornments. Our last project we made Garden Goddess effigies made with all of the left over sticks from our large Garden Goddess, which had been charged by the sun all day. Then we decorated them with fresh herbs from the garden. They smelled divine and will be a nice piece to take home for our guest's altars.

Hope you enjoyed our little touch of creativity!
